ParcelKind by Styrvia — Early Access Terms

Service scope: ParcelKind account, verified email/password, optional authenticator-app 2FA and optional cloud workspace sync

1. Provider

ParcelKind is provided by Styrvia, CVR 46690397, Monica Zetterlundsvej 19, 4. tv., 2450 Copenhagen SV, Denmark (“Styrvia”).

2. What ParcelKind is

ParcelKind is information, calculation and workflow software for packaging compliance work, including EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (“PPWR”) requirements and national packaging extended producer responsibility (“EPR”) workflows.

ParcelKind can organise seller facts, user-selected Etsy order data, packaging recipes and weights, maintained regulatory sources, country activity, possible economic roles, evidence status, calculations and review-ready records.

ParcelKind is not a law firm, regulator, Producer Responsibility Organisation (“PRO”), EPR scheme, authorised representative, laboratory, certification body, tax adviser or filing service. It does not make official registrations, pay fees, submit filings, certify substances, verify laboratory chemistry or confirm that an authority, marketplace, scheme or other third party has accepted anything.

ParcelKind prepares information and calculations for review. You or your adviser remain responsible for final legal interpretation, registrations, schemes, representatives, fees, deadlines, submissions and compliance decisions.

3. Account, password and two-factor authentication

The account-enabled ParcelKind release requires an account for access.

You are responsible for keeping your password, any authenticator-app access you enable, recovery information made available by the service, and active sessions secure. Do not share authentication credentials with another person.

Authenticator-app two-factor authentication (“2FA”) is optional to enable. Once you enable it, ParcelKind requires a valid authenticator code at each new sign-in before opening the workspace. You can turn it off only while signed in with a verified authenticator session; doing so signs you out. On enabling 2FA, ParcelKind issues eight one-time recovery codes for you to save separately from your authenticator and password. A code can be used after password sign-in to remove enrolled authenticators, sign out and let you set up a new one. Generating new codes cancels the previous set; disabling 2FA revokes them. Codes are shown once and stored by the service only as cryptographic hashes. If you lose both the authenticator and all codes, contact support for identity recovery. Support cannot guarantee immediate restoration, and recovering account access is separate from recovering your device-local workspace. Styrvia may require re-authentication, invalidate sessions or restrict account access where reasonably necessary to protect the account or service.

Your ParcelKind account authenticates access and stores limited account, security, legal-acceptance and entitlement information. Creating an account does not automatically enable cloud sync. You decide whether to enable it in the workspace.

4. Current early-access and trial status

The current release is an early-access service.

The current app provides a 30-day no-card trial. The trial/entitlement state may be associated with your ParcelKind account so that access rules can be enforced consistently.

The trial does not automatically convert into a paid subscription. Access becomes read-only when the trial ends unless another entitlement has been granted. No payment is taken without your separate checkout confirmation.

The pricing page may show intended subscription prices. Displaying a price does not create a subscription. Before any paid order, checkout must show the selected plan, price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms, applicable taxes, payment provider and a deliberate order confirmation. Paid checkout is not yet active.

5. Licence and permitted use

During the trial or pilot, Styrvia grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use ParcelKind for your own shop, business or professional packaging-compliance workflow and evaluation.

If you use ParcelKind for or on behalf of a company, sole trader, partnership or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to use the service and, where applicable, to accept these Terms on its behalf.

You may not resell or sublicense access, circumvent technical controls, scrape ParcelKind at scale, or use ParcelKind to create a competing regulatory database or service. Restrictions on reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law. Mandatory statutory rights are unaffected.

6. Your inputs and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness and currency of the facts and materials you provide, including seller and entity information, order treatment, destinations, packaging components, materials, weights, evidence sources, registrations, representatives, schemes, marketplace arrangements and other business facts.

You must review ParcelKind outputs before relying on them. A status, calculation, role indication, readiness state, draft, report or snapshot is not legal confirmation that you are compliant.

You remain responsible for obtaining and keeping evidence required for your business, including supplier or manufacturer information, laboratory evidence where relevant, registration and scheme evidence, representative evidence, declarations and records required by applicable law.

7. Personal and third-party data you import

You are responsible for ensuring that you have a lawful basis and any necessary authority to import, use and retain personal data or third-party business information in ParcelKind.

Import only information reasonably needed for your packaging-compliance workflow. Avoid unnecessary buyer personal data.

The current Etsy CSV import is designed to discard buyer names, street addresses, email addresses and prices where they are not needed for calculation or reconciliation. You remain responsible for the source file you choose and for any information you deliberately retain, export or share.

8. PPWR roles, EPR and country coverage

ParcelKind may derive or flag possible PPWR and EPR roles from the facts you enter and the maintained rule package. Depending on the facts, this can include roles such as manufacturer, supplier, importer, distributor, distance seller, fulfilment service provider or EPR producer.

Role and marketplace conclusions are fact-dependent. They are not legal opinions.

A country shown as Supported means ParcelKind has a source-backed and tested route for the defined case. It does not mean every unusual business model or legal issue in that country is covered. ParcelKind may use states such as Partial, Specialist review or Unsupported where coverage is incomplete or the facts require review.

Unknown, conflicting, special or unsupported cases may block readiness rather than being guessed.

9. Regulatory sources, effective dates and changes

Packaging law, implementing acts, guidance, national rules, authority practice and scheme requirements can change.

ParcelKind maintains versioned regulatory sources and rule-specific effective dates. It does not assume that an entire calendar year is governed by one legal regime merely because a regulation begins applying during that year.

A later rule or source update may change future calculations, role conclusions or readiness. Where a requirement is unknown, incomplete, future-dated or dependent on future implementing acts, ParcelKind may show a future, partial or review state instead of treating it as a current failure or confirmed compliance result.

A historical finalised ParcelKind snapshot is intended to remain tied to the rule package and facts used when that snapshot was created. It is a record of the app state at that time, not an authority decision or legal guarantee.

10. Marketplace and third-party responsibility

Using Etsy or another marketplace does not by itself establish that the marketplace has fulfilled every registration, EPR, representative, reporting or other obligation for you.

Where a marketplace or another party acts on your behalf, you remain responsible for checking the applicable legal and contractual basis and retaining appropriate evidence.

ParcelKind is an independent Styrvia product. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Etsy, EU institutions, national authorities, PROs, EPR schemes or marketplaces merely because their names, formats, rules or public sources are referenced.

11. Evidence, declarations and chemistry

ParcelKind does not test chemical composition or independently authenticate supplier or laboratory evidence.

A substance or evidence flag does not prove that packaging passes or fails a legal test. Where laboratory, supplier, manufacturer or other technical evidence is required, you are responsible for obtaining and reviewing the appropriate evidence.

Any technical-documentation or declaration output produced by ParcelKind is a draft or review aid unless the applicable law and your role allow you to issue it and you deliberately approve it. ParcelKind does not certify or sign legal declarations for you.

12. Workspace, optional cloud sync and backups

The ParcelKind account is centrally authenticated. The working workspace stays on your browser/device by default. If you enable cloud sync, an account-scoped working copy is sent to Supabase and later changes are synced while the feature remains active. The original Etsy CSV is not uploaded. Cloud sync can be paused; pausing leaves the last cloud copy available until you delete it. If two copies differ, the app asks you which to use rather than silently merging or overwriting.

The account service may centrally store the limited account/security information described in the Privacy Notice, including authentication state, optional 2FA/security information, legal-acceptance records and trial/entitlement state. It does not thereby receive your normal Etsy order workspace, packaging recipes, country calculations or compliance evidence unless you choose cloud sync.

Browser storage is not a backup. Cloud sync is a working copy and not a guaranteed statutory archive. Data may be unavailable during outages, sync errors or account loss. Clearing browser data, changing browser profiles or device failure can remove an unsynced local copy. Export important records independently.

Keep workspace backups and important exports somewhere you control.

ParcelKind should not be your only repository for records or evidence that you are legally required to retain. Keep appropriate independent copies of source documents, supplier evidence, registrations, filings, declarations and other legally important records.

13. Finalisation, reports and submissions

“Finalised” in ParcelKind means that the app records a locked or finalised snapshot of the information and rule package used for that ParcelKind record.

It does not mean that a regulator, marketplace, PRO, EPR scheme or other third party has approved, accepted or received the information.

Submission, registration, payment and authority acceptance occur outside ParcelKind unless Styrvia expressly introduces and documents a separate capability in a later release.

14. Third-party services and sources

ParcelKind may link to or use information published by EU or national authorities, EPR schemes, marketplaces and other third parties. Website and account delivery/security also depend on third-party infrastructure.

Third-party services, sources and websites are outside Styrvia’s control and may change, become unavailable, be delayed or contain errors. A link or reference does not make Styrvia responsible for the third party’s service, decision or legal interpretation.

15. Support

Support is provided through the shared Styrvia contact process.

Do not send unredacted buyer data, full Etsy exports, account credentials, passwords, 2FA codes, authenticator setup secrets, registration credentials or confidential supplier evidence through ordinary support unless Styrvia specifically asks for a limited item through an appropriate secure process.

Styrvia support will not ask you to send your password or live 2FA code.

A support request does not subscribe you to marketing emails.

16. Early-access availability and changes

ParcelKind is an early-access product. Features, country coverage, rules, interfaces and access may be corrected, changed, restricted, suspended or withdrawn.

Styrvia may restrict or end access where reasonably necessary for security, legal, regulatory, technical or product-integrity reasons, including suspected account compromise or abuse.

Styrvia may correct regulatory or calculation defects and may change future readiness results when the maintained rule package changes.

17. Intellectual property and your data

ParcelKind, its software, interface, documentation, maintained rule structures, calculation methods and Styrvia branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

You retain any rights you have in data and materials you lawfully enter or import.

These Terms do not transfer Styrvia intellectual property to you, and Styrvia does not acquire ownership of your shop or business data merely because you use ParcelKind.

18. No warranty

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the early-access service is provided on an “as available” basis.

Styrvia does not warrant that ParcelKind will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete for every business model, country, packaging type or legal situation, or sufficient by itself for a filing, registration, declaration, payment or legal decision.

Maintained sources, tests and fail-closed states are designed to improve reliability, but they are not a guarantee of legal compliance or authority acceptance.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

19. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Styrvia is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost revenue, lost business opportunity, regulatory penalties, missed deadlines or third-party decisions to the extent they arise from:

• inaccurate, incomplete or outdated user inputs;
• failure to review outputs or unresolved issues shown by ParcelKind;
• failure to keep required records or backups;
• reliance on a draft, future, partial, unsupported or specialist-review state as if it were a confirmed legal result;
• changed law, guidance, authority practice, third-party services or third-party source material; or
• a marketplace, PRO, scheme, authority, supplier, laboratory or other third party acting differently from the assumptions or evidence recorded in ParcelKind.

Mandatory rights and any liability that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.

20. Privacy and legal acceptance

The ParcelKind Privacy Notice explains the information Styrvia receives through account creation/authentication, website delivery, trial/entitlement administration, legal acceptance, support and service security, and the optional cloud-workspace boundary.

The account-enabled release keeps a central, append-only legal-acceptance record containing the Terms and Privacy version identifiers, a database-generated acceptance time and an account reference. The current UAT record does not include document hashes or app/release context. This record is separate from your compliance workspace.

21. Account closure

You may request account deletion through the available account/privacy process, subject to records Styrvia must or may lawfully retain for security, legal obligations, dispute handling or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Account deletion is handled through support@styrvia.com. After verifying the request, Styrvia will remove eligible active account and cloud data without undue delay and within one month of receiving the request, subject to identity verification, any applicable legal exception and a lawful extension where permitted. Styrvia assesses any records it must retain and confirms the result. Deleting the account does not delete local workspace copies or exported backups on your devices; remove those separately.

Conversely, clearing local browser storage does not automatically delete the central account.

22. Changes to these Terms

Styrvia may update these Terms when ParcelKind, the provider identity, legal requirements or the service model changes.

Each version is identified by a version ID and effective date. Where a material change requires renewed acceptance, the updated Terms will be presented through the applicable product flow before they govern continued use.

23. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Danish law, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Disputes are subject to the competent Danish courts unless mandatory law requires another forum.
